Kacper Wissuwa began his creative journey with stop-motion LEGO animations, gradually expanding into music videos and commercials. As his passion for storytelling evolved, he discovered documentary filmmaking—a space where emotion, aesthetics, and social relevance intersect. Early projects took him to Tbilisi and New York City, where he captured the spirit of place and people with a distinct visual voice. Today, Kacper explores the boundaries of identity, culture, and resilience through cinematic storytelling. His debut festival submission marks a new chapter in a career shaped by curiosity, empathy, and a drive to document the raw and real moments of life across the globe.

Under the Same Sky follows a Polish filmmaker’s journey to Ukraine, two years after the full-scale invasion began. Visiting Kyiv for the first time, he captures the resilience of civilians striving for normalcy amidst war. Through interviews with artists who chose to stay or return, the film explores their motivations, fears, and hopes, revealing how creativity and determination endure even in the darkest times. A poignant reflection on life under threat, it contrasts the fragile peace of the sky with the harsh realities of conflict, offering a powerful, human perspective on survival and hope.
